Building a digital world consumers can trust
Mapping policy actions
As part of Consumers International's work to build a digital world consumers can trust, we have collected a set of policy actions that support consumer protection and empowerment in the digital age. This list includes more than 60 separate actions drawn from around the world, including moves to increase access to broadband, education initiatives and data portability schemes.
We want this resource to support consumer organisations advocating for a better digital world. A future version will also give Consumers International members the option to share examples from their own countries.
Given the cross-cutting nature of legislation and regulation, we have arranged the actions in two different ways:
A-Z policy actions is list of policy actions, with tags to link together related actions.
